Based in Lancashire, independently owned Grassroots Foods are proud to supply to beef, pork, chicken and lamb for retail own label, e-commerce pick and pack, foodservice and catering customers across the UK.

Operating 7 days per week, our new 70,000 sq ft East Lancashire plant combines highly skilled traditional British butchery with the latest manufacturing technology and processes. We can produce 40 tonnes per day, whilst ensuring that we deliver a great quality product from an efficient process.

Relationships are at the heart of everything we do.  We’ve been working with some of our producers for three generations and we strive to provide a great tasting product to your exact requirements, with a particular emphasis on product traceability and animal welfare. 

From field to fridge, our team of over 100 staff take care of the whole process from sourcing and butchery right through to packaging design and delivery.
